There are 224 applications in the present competition. Some statistical information about the applications is here.
The process of gathering assessments is now well under way. Applicants will be informed in September whether or not the Selection Panel has decided to invite them to interview. We have contacted all applicants during June to check about availability for interview. Applicants should keep an eye on this website for updates about the process.
We recognise that applicants would prefer certainty about the date for the ceremony. Unfortunately, we cannot achieve that because the date depends on when Westminster Hall is free for use, and on the availability of the Lord Chancellor. However, we can say that the ceremony will not be held during a legal vacation. It is thus likely to be towards the end of the Hilary term (which ends on 1 April) or at the start of the Easter term (which starts on 14 April).
NOTE FOR ASSESSORS
The Selection Panel would like to thank all assessors, as without their help it could not complete its task. There is a quick link to the on-line assessment form to the right. This is the easiest way for assessors to complete an assessment. Assessors will need to use their ID and password to see a pre-populated assessment form to complete. Alternatively, assessors can use the Word version of the form, which is downloadable here. This will not be pre-populated with any information. If assessors require any help please contact the QCA Secretariat on 0207 831 0020.
The Guidance to assist assessors is now available, here and on the link to the right.
